Dr. Pete Scontrino M. PETER SCONTRINO, Ph.D. INDUSTRIAL-ORGANIZATIONAL PSYCHOLOGIST M. Peter Scontrino, a graduate of Seattle University and Michigan State University, holds the Ph.D. degree in industrial-organizational psychology. He is a licensed psychologist in the State of Washington. Born and raised in the State of Washington, he served on the faculties of the University of Washington and Seattle University prior to forming his own management consulting organization in 1975. He is a widely recognized expert in the design and implementation of Scanlon Plans and Gainsharing Plans. Scontrino has worked with clients in the public sector and private sector, profit and non-profit in the development of gainsharing incentive plans. The organizations ranged in size from just under 100 employees to 1,500 employees. These organizations included high tech manufacturing, aerospace, manufacturing, aluminum smelters, silicon metal smelter, insurance, waste water treatment, and lumber mills. Each of these gainsharing plans included a structured employee involvement system to provide a conduit for employee ideas, suggestions, and problem solving. His consulting practice has taken him from Canada to Mexico and from the United States to Japan. His clients cover the gamut from Fortune 100 companies to five person operations. He has published a number of articles and has co-authored one text. He is a past director of the Pacific Northwest Organizational Development Network. In 1996 he was selected as an examiner for the Washington State Quality Award. He currently serves on the advisory board for Ascentis Corporation. |
