Dr. K. Dow Scott

Dr. K. Dow Scott has been a champion of the Scanlon Principles and Processes since he studied under Dr. Carl Frost at Michigan State University. His involvement includes: Acting as an advisor and consultant for companies installing Scanlon Plans and teams. Conducting nationally recognized research on the use of Scanlon principles and processes, shared reward programs, and creation of high performance teams. Leading numerous conferences and workshops where companies have had an opportunity to assess their interest and commitment to the Scanlon principles and processes. Working with Scanlon Plan Associates to support their pursuit of highly productive and satisfying work environment.

Dr. Scott's research has been published in over 70 books, journals, and conference proceedings. The Society of Human Resource Management (five Yoder-Heneman awards), the Academy of Management, and the Southern Management Association have nationally recognized him for his research contributions.

In addition to his role as a partner in Performance Development International, Inc., Dr. Scott is a Professor of Human Resources and Industrial Relations at Loyola University, Chicago.
