The Process of Commitment

Many business leaders today have taken the position that organizations cannot commit to employees. While few organizations can guarantee life time employment, this lack of commitment extends beyond employment contracts. A strong message is sent that commitment is a impossible for modern organizations. Scanlon organizations continue to prove these short sided business leaders are wrong.

Scanlon Quote of the Day
“The Scanlon Plan puts it all together. It combines the leverage of capital, the skill of managers, the creativity and competence of all employees, and the opportunities of technology into a system supported by participation and an equitable sharing of productivity to meet the needs of customer, owner, and employee. In so doing, a company also fulfills its proper role in the larger economic system: worthwhile employment, worthwhile goods and services, worthwhile investments.”
-Dr. Carl Frost
